Who we are
"Lumero," "we," and "us" mean Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc., a Wyoming corporation. We develop proprietary protocol and wallet software, operate this website, and run pilot programs in selected markets.
"You" means anyone using this site, our wallet software, or any service we operate.
What we are not
We are not a bank, a money transmitter outside the jurisdictions where we are licensed, an investment advisor, or a custodian of your funds. UMX held in your own wallet is yours. We cannot freeze it, recall it, or unilaterally redeem it.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. Nothing here is a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
The network versus our software
The Lumero network is operated by Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc. Anyone meeting the published validator requirements may participate in the network and anyone may transact. The protocol implementation, KnexPay wallet, and all supporting tooling are proprietary and closed-source — see Software licenses below. Reverse engineering, decompilation, forking, or unauthorized redistribution of our software is prohibited. Our terms apply to our services — this site, our wallet, our published binaries, and any program we operate.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate sanctions, AML, or other applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.
- Defraud, impersonate, or harass other users.
- Interfere with the operation of the network or our infrastructure.
- Bypass jurisdictional restrictions we are required to enforce.
Risk
Distributed ledger technology is experimental. UMX is collateralized by a basket reserve, but reserve composition can change through governance, oracle prices fluctuate, and protocol bugs are possible. Do not commit funds you cannot afford to lose. Reserve coverage rules are described in the protocol spec; rights you have under those rules are described in the spec, not in marketing copy.
Software licenses
All software developed by Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc. — including the Lumero DAG protocol implementation, KnexPay wallet, validator tooling, and supporting infrastructure — is proprietary and closed-source. All rights reserved. No license to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, decompile, or create derivative works is granted by use of this site, the wallet, or participation in the network. Brand assets are not licensed for redistribution; contact hello@knexmail.com for media use.
No warranty
Our services and software are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lumero will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to USD $100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Changes
If we change these terms in a material way, we'll post the new version here, update the date, and announce the change at least 30 days in advance.
