The short version
The Lumero protocol is permissionless and pseudonymous. Onchain activity is public by design. Lumero, the company, doesn't operate the chain — we publish software and run a marketing site. Most of what you do with Lumero, we never see.
This page covers personal information you share with us directly — through this site, our wallet, support, and any pilot programs.
What we collect
- Site analytics. Aggregate page views, referrer, country-level region, and device class. We do not use cross-site tracking pixels.
- Forms you fill out. If you email us or submit a contact form, we keep what you sent so we can reply.
- Pilot participation. If you join a closed pilot (e.g., the USA → Colombia corridor), we may collect KYC data through a regulated partner. That data lives with the partner, not with us.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email until you unsubscribe.
What we do not collect
- We do not store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords. Ever.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers.
- We do not link your wallet address to your name unless you tell us to (e.g., for a regulated pilot).
How we use what we collect
We use it to operate this site, ship the wallet, run pilots, answer support, and meet legal obligations. That's it. We do not profile you for advertising and we do not buy data about you.
Where data lives
Site traffic is served from US-based infrastructure. Email correspondence is hosted with a major US-based provider. Pilot KYC data lives with our regulated partner in the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., Colombia for the Colombia pilot).
Your rights
- Ask us what we have on you.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention rules).
- Ask us to correct it.
- Withdraw consent for any communications.

Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy in any way that matters, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced through our normal channels at least 30 days in advance.
