Roadmap · May 2026

Twelve months.
Four phases.

Make money safer to hold. Faster to move. Cheaper to send. We earn each phase before starting the next.

Months 1–3

Trust the base.

Before anything else, NEX has to be credible.

  • Finish the security audit and publish the results.
  • Ship the explorer, status page, wallet download, and mining page.
  • Publish monetary policy and risk language in plain English.
In progress
Months 4–6

Ship the wallet.

Move from protocol to product. Build what people will actually touch.

  • Polish KnexPay for everyday users.
  • Finish the Lumero spec and the rules NEX uses to back it.
  • Build a private USA → Colombia send-money demo.
  • Start the legal and compliance review.
Next
Months 7–9

Prove one corridor.

A small group of real users, in one country, doing real things.

  • Onboard 10–50 families and merchants in Colombia.
  • Run real remittances, merchant payments, and redemptions.
  • Publish what we learn — the good and the rough edges.
Planned
Months 10–12

Open the playbook.

Turn one working corridor into a repeatable one.

  • Investor and partner materials.
  • Start exchange and OTC distribution.
  • Pick the first African corridor.
  • Translate everything — Spanish and English, regulators included.
Planned
First Colombia.
Then everywhere.

Why Colombia first.

People in Colombia already know what bad money rails feel like — high remittance fees, slow transfers, currency stress. That's exactly the problem Lumero is built to solve.

Someone in the United States sends value home. The recipient receives it in seconds. A local merchant accepts it — or the recipient redeems it through a partner. That's the test.

No promises of returns. No claims of guaranteed stability. Just speed, cost, and reliability we can publish openly.
